Welcome to Forge Ahead Imaging. We are located at 1986 28th St, Suite 3, Wyoming, MI 49519. These Terms and Conditions of Use govern your use of Forge Ahead Imaging (FAI) services. Your use of these services constitutes acceptance of the Terms and Conditions of Use and creates a binding agreement. If you do not accept these terms, do not use this website. Please check these Terms and Conditions of Use frequently, as we may from time to time make changes to the Terms and Conditions of Use. The most up-to-date version of these Terms and Conditions of Use will be available for your review on the website. Amendments to both the Terms and Conditions of Use as well as other website content, including pricing, will become effective at the time they are posted on this website. Your continued use of the website after amendments are posted will constitute your acceptance of such amendments. We may at any time modify or discontinue any aspect or component of the website. You must be 18 years or older to use FAI.
1. Credit/Payment Terms
Orders are paid at the time of submission by credit card, which is authorized and charged at the time you place the order. We accept all major card holders, Link, Apple Pay, Amazon Pay, Klarna, and Cash App Pay. If additional charges are to be applied that are not listed on the website, we will notify you via email or phone prior to shipping your order. Charges are processed securely through 3rd party payment processor Stripe and will appear as “FORGE AHEAD IMAGING” on your statement. Terms & Conditions apply for each payment processor.
2. In-House Times
Our goal is to ship most orders promptly while still maintaining our high quality standards. Decor products have a longer turn-around time and will vary for up to 10 business days or longer. Delivery times may vary based on seasonality and special circumstances.
3. Sales Tax
All sales within Michigan are subject to 6% sales tax. It is the responsibility of the customer to provide a tax-exempt number before ordering to avoid sales tax charges.
4. Hours of Operation
Normal business hours are Monday through Friday, 10:00am - 6:00pm EDT. Subject to change at company's discretion.
5. Paper
Digital Photographic Paper - FAI prints offer Red River professional digital photographic and art papers. Surfaces include Satin, Glossy and Matte.
6. Limits of Liability
FAI will take every precaution to ensure proper handling of any file submitted, however we assume no liability for loss of submitted files. FAI is not responsible for loss, damage, or delay in shipment caused by parcel carriers. Tracking numbers are only valid for 90 days for FedEx deliveries and 120 days for USPS and UPS deliveries. After that, we offer no guarantee on the delivery of the products if contacted after those timeframes. 
 7. Remakes
Within 14 days of receipt of the order, contact us if there is an error with the order or damage during shipping. After the 14 day period, it is at the discretion of us if a remake will be processed and/or if there will be a fee.
If a shipment appears to be lost, a claim must be filed in the window of after 20 days of initial shipping date for domestic and 40 days for International orders and before 45 days for domestic and 65 days for international orders. We will then file a claim with the carrier and determine how to proceed with a remake. Lost shipment remake orders may charge a fee to proceed forward depending on product lost in shipment and the outcome of the lost shipment claim from the carrier.
Material manufacturing techniques change from time to time. Papers, inks, substrates, and laminates used in production are subject to those changes. As such, we cannot guarantee that prints today will exactly match prints produced in the past.
FAI is committed to the success of each photographer. Our job is to provide the highest quality output possible; that process starts with your files. Before placing your order, make sure you have adequate resolution for the sizes to be printed and that any cropping, text, paper, mounting, and finishes are correct. We cannot be responsible for poor exposure, color, insufficient resolution, or visual errors in the image.
All remakes are shipped using the carrier of choice at the discretion of FAI. Upgraded shipping is available, but additional charges will be incurred.
8. Copyright
FAI complies with all copyright laws. We vigorously work to protect the ownership rights of the copyright holder and will not knowingly copy, scan, or reproduce photographs that are copyrighted or bear a studio name without the written consent of the photographer, studio or trademark holder. If quality control discovers a copyright violation, we will contact you for a release prior to shipping the work. If no proper release is provided within 48 hours, the order will not ship, the prints will be destroyed, and there will be no refund for the order. We reserve the right to refuse any order deemed to be illegal in nature, racist, transphobic or homophobic.
Images that are fully generated using artificial intelligence (AI) tools such as Stable Diffusion, Midjourney, ChatGPT, Gemini, and others are not permitted to be printed here at FAI. These tools are known to have unauthorized use of copyrighted data. Images that we deem to appear to be generated entirely with an AI tool, the order can be cancelled with no refund at our discretion if copyright cannot be proven. Original images that are enhanced using AI tools such as those that are available in Adobe's Creative Cloud suite are permitted due to the disclosure of the content used for the generation. 
9. Privacy
Other than as set forth herein, we will not disclose your personal information to third parties without your written consent (which consent may be obtained electronically, such as by e-mail), unless we reasonably believe that the disclosure is essential to the conduct of FAI's business, including but not limited to where such disclosure is necessary to (i) comply with the law, (ii) collect unpaid amounts due FAI, its subsidiaries, parent or agents, (iii) enable FAI employees, agents or consultants to provide service and to otherwise perform their duties,(iv) comply with interchange functions, (v) obtain and provide credit reporting information, or (vi) resolve customer disputes or inquiries. We do not provide your personal information to third parties for the purpose of telemarketing, e-mail, or direct mail solicitation, nor do we retain your credit card number on file.
10. Website Content
All content on the website is the copyrighted property of FAI. Content contained in the website may not be reproduced, modified, edited, distributed, republished, downloaded, displayed, posted, sold, or transmitted (in whole or in part) in any form or by any means, including but not limited to electronic, mechanical, photocopying, recording, or otherwise, without the express prior written permission of FAI.
11. Canceling Orders
FAI ROES Ordering System - You may cancel an order on the FAI ROES ordering system provided the order has not already been printed. To cancel an order, contact us with the order details. We will verify that the order has not been printed. Charged may not be refunded if the order has been completed.
